I never fully understood that quote until a few weeks ago. I was in the car with my friends Chris, Justin, and Kasey listening to some tuneskies. The song “Have You Passed Through This Night” by Explosions in the sky came on and instantly everyone stopped talking. If you havent heard this song yet, you probably should. It made me feel like nothing mattered anymore. Everything from that point on would be okay. It wasn’t like I felt like my life could end and I would be satisfied, but it was like my life was just starting. I now feel like doing what I want. I am not so worried about what others want from me, but what I want for myself.
Explosions in the Sky should be mandatory ipod music.
